Neil G. Parry, MD, FRCSC, FACS

Dr. Parry returned to Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre in 2003 and is now an Associate Professor of Surgery and Critical Care at Western University. He has been the Medical Director of the Trauma Program for London Health Sciences Centre since 2011. He is also the Chief of Surgery at Victoria Hospital and has previously served as the Medical Director of the Critical Care Trauma Center and the Site Lead for the Critical Care Outreach Team. He has held several leadership roles with the Trauma Association of Canada, is a national member of the Committee on Trauma for the America College of Surgeons and also serves as the Provincial Chair for Ontario.
Dr. Parry is active with the Royal College and Physicians of Canada. He is a member of the General Surgery Examination Board as well as the Working Group for Area of Focused Competence for Trauma General Surgery.
He has had numerous peer reviewed publications, scientific presentations and invited lectures. His main academic interests are in clinical outcomes in trauma, critical care, acute care surgery as well as complex abdominal wall reconstruction.
