History
Three of the founders of Trauma Conference International (TCI) were also founding members of the Arizona Trauma Association (ATA) in 2006 – Drs. David Notrica, Peter Rhee and Chris Salvino.
The three trauma surgeons grew ATA’s regional conference into a nationwide event and hosted it for seven years. Trauma Conference International hosts a simulcast of the event and equally as important, the conference is broadcast live in both English and Spanish. In 2016 and 2017, TCI reached thousands of trauma surgeons, advanced practice providers, and nurses in countries spanning the Americas.
The TCI founders recognized the need for a truly international trauma conference where everything was shared equally from one world region to another and began collaborating with trauma leaders from Canada, Central America, and South America,
TCI recognizes that board positions, speakers, location, and even language, should be shared like never before. Bilingual simulcast would continue to play an integral part in the way that trauma education is delivered.
